Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Classes

Our Kids Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program focuses on the fundamentals of jiu jitsu as well as the basics of self-defense and fitness. During class, we emphasize gaining confidence in oneself and working together as a team to improve. BCBJJ gym memberships provide access to unlimited jiu jitsu classes.

  • This class is ideal for kids around ages 7 to 13
  • All fitness levels are welcome
  • We are inclusive to all sizes and abilities
  • Instructors teach children to develop a style that works best for them
  • No previous martial arts or grappling experience is required

Class Structure

Structure of our classes varies, but in general, students can expect:

  • 10-15 minutes of warm ups, team building exercises
  • 10-15 minutes of drilling
  • 10-15 minutes of positional drilling, rolling, and other active games

What To Bring

Children only need to wear shorts and a t-shirt. Remember to bring a water bottle!
